Amy Preston
Amy Preston founded Preston Design & Construction Consulting from a strong passion for holistic project management, with a belief that the success of a project comes when design and construction are in sync. With over 25 years of industry experience, Amy has held several key leadership roles, including at Tishman Speyer, where she led a team of acquisitions and development project managers and oversaw all design and construction for owned assets, capital upgrades, and new development / redevelopment projects in the Chicago and Austin, TX markets. Since 2021, Amy has served as the Managing Director of PDCC, running a successful firm focused on advisory and project management for owners, operators, developers, and tenants.
Amy has been involved in over 30 million square feet of projects, including commercial office campuses, residential and mixed-use buildings, hospitality facilities and social / country clubs, and educational institutions. Her leadership style is focused on building teams that are deeply invested in the success of each project, and her experience guiding successful collaboration efforts on high-stakes projects reflects the depth of her expertise as a Project Manager, Owner’s Representative, and Development Advisor.
