Amy Preston
Amy Preston founded Preston Design & Construction Consulting from a strong passion for holistic project management, with a belief that the success of a project comes when design and construction are in sync. In over 17 years of industry experience, Amy has held several key leadership roles, most recently at Tishman Speyer where she was Managing Director for the Chicago and Austin markets, overseeing all design and construction in owned assets, capital upgrades, new development and redevelopment. She was responsible for leading a team of acquisitions and development project managers to implement key projects in the Chicago and Austin market.
Amy has been involved in over 20 million square feet of projects, including commercial office (high-rise and suburban campus), residential (high and mid-rise), mixed-use, and hospitality. She has a strong leadership style focused on creating teams that believe in the success of each project. Her experience in leading successful collaboration efforts for high-stakes projects makes her ideal for the role of diversity and inclusion consultant.
